Wood flooring is a renewable resource that will add value and beauty to your home. We will work with you to select the flooring option that suits your style and needs. We work with quality suppliers like Indiana Hardwood Supply, Mullican, Bruce, and others who supply materials from managed forest. You can rest at night knowing you have made a responsible choice that will last the life of your home.
Caring for your new wood floor need not be a hassle. A quality mat at all exterior doors is a great line of defense against dirt and debris. Shake and clean your mats often to get the best benefit.
A quality vacuum with a soft head will help with the dirt and grit that get past the mats. Be sure to use a vacuum designed for wood floors. Rotating brushes from carpet vacuums could damage your hardwood floors.
Use only a slightly dampened mop or cloth if necessary to clean your hardwood floors. We suggest you never use a mop and bucket, apply wax, or use an oil soap. Too much water can cause boards to cup, and oil soaps, much like wax, leave a build up that traps dust and dirt.
All furniture should have felt pad on each leg. Felt can be found at any hardware store, or simply ask us! These pads may need to be replaced with frequent use.
With a little care your floors will be looking great for years and years!
